Just want to warn any guys new to China about some scam. I have lived here 4 years and still surprised that guys are taken in by it. How it works is that you are walking in some tourist spot (Nanjing Road in Shanghai, Wangfujing in Beijing) and some pretty girls tell you they are students who wish to practice their English and lets have tea together. You say yes and they take you to some place for tea and snacks and later a HUGE bill. Many Chinese girls are very sweet -- even the prostitutes at legit places are sweet and friendly. BUT these con-artist girls are the worst kinds of bitches in the world!!!! Remember that anywhere on earth, a woman who approaches a man is a woman who wants something (usually $$$). One way to gauge true intention is to say sure you are happy to practice English with them if they are buying the tea. Or offer to take them to a well-known place like Starbucks or Pizza Hut. You will see how quickly they run away. Also be careful of girls in bars who I have heard of drugging guys and stealing their money (unfortunately not date raping you either).
While men have sex on the brain most women (especially Chinese women) have money on the brain, so just be careful. Read this site for places recommended by others and you will be sure to find some nice Asian pussy together with a friendly smile at a good price.
