New yahoo mail messenger not working but chat worked...?

Hi, I just upgraded my mail and the old chat was replaced by messenger and not it can not connect anymore. I am behind a firewall and chat had no problem and messenger is blocked. Do you know if now messenger uses a different port ? Can I configure it to use the former chat port ?
