So I went out on a date the other night with a civil engineer (who has his doctorate.) Met online dating site. I guess he is a nerd and seemed shy. I have had 2 boyfriends in MANY years ... and think if myself as kinda shy- but it seems I always take the initiative. I send my number/then he .. I ask him to meet / he comes up with ideas ... I text / then he does. I hold his hand/he mine.

I thought the date went well. We went to movie and then sat on my porch and talked until 1:30 am! Very late for both of us.

I texted him next day to say thanks hope to see/talk soon and he texted right back youre welcome it was a nice evening.

But now ... following the rules .. I have not texted him ... and he has not texted me. Should I continue to wait or send him a text asking if he wants to see me again- or let it go???
