NEWBIE IN SALTWATER!! someone explain to me if and why my tank is overstocked...

...please!!? I have a 20 gallon saltwater tank. I use a 30 gallon AquaClear power filter, a 20 gallon power head, have 10 pounds of live rock (plan on getting more base rock), and 20 pounds live sand. In it, I have 2 false perculas/ocellaris clown fish, a pygmy yellowtail angelfish, and a chocolate chip star fish. The man at the lfs said it was fine, but is it overstocked?? What can I do to keep it healthy? I can get the 50 gallon filter if necessary..
 
It looks fine to me, however I wouldn't add anymore fish. Also if you intend to keep corals then you might like to consider removing the starfish, as this species will happily spend it's time munching on them.

Remember that regular maintenance and water testing is important. If you can then I would scrap the power filter and substitute this for a protein skimmer and an extra circulation pump. A combination of live rock (at least 1kg/10litres), a protein skimmer and some chemical filtration media such as carbon or rowaphos is more than adequate for a marine aquarium.
