In Detroit, you can find a lot of action on Michigan Ave. between Livernois and Wyoming. Also some east of Livernois to around Junction.
Be aware the the police watch this area and have arrested both working girls and johns.
Also, you don't know who you are dealing with and you can get ripped off.

All that said, it may be cheaper, but on the other hand, it may be a lot more expensive than you bargained for.
