Newbie tank questions pls help?

Can I turn a 20 gallon top fin starter kit into a salt water tank if not what would I have to change to make it salt water (example filter and stuff like that)and could I keep 1 false percula clown fish 1 hi fin red banded goby(would be paired with red banded pistol shrimp) 3 scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp 2 red leg hermit 1 dwarf zebra hermit and a turban snail thanks so much. tips and suggestions are more than welcome
Ok let me rephrase the question I'm not a newbie but I got out of the hobby for a bit and I have a friend who has a 100 gallon salt water tank with corals and fish and inverts so I need to know if I can. Transfer a top fin 20 gallon tank to salt water and do I need to change the filter or any thing like that thanks and will those fish work

other than a coral only tank the smallest i have ever had any luck with in salt is a 30g
most if not all salt water fish require least a 30g (or larger) to mature to full size
your choice of fish will work if you increase the tank size
i have found no problems using fresh water equipment in a salt water set up but the addition of a protein skimmer is recommended

salt water tank are very hard work not for armatures.
If you want something (as the colors go) like a saltwater fish get a african cichlid thier colors are amazing.

Salt water tanks don't leave much room for error, and having a small tank like a 20 gallon is going to be harder to keep stable. A bigger tank is the first thing to get. I wouldn't recommend saltwater for a newbie to start with.

Salt water is harder than fresh water because you have to get special lighting if you a getting coral or anemone (something like that), and the right salt for the fish that you want. Its really hard to keep things in good shape in a small tank
