Newbie to Silvers. Which ones are best for me?

I just bought a pair of Silver Jeans last month and LOVE THEM! I want to order more through Maurices because I have an online code and gift card (and because I live so far from the store).
I'm slowly understanding the size chart. But I'm struggling with the cuts.
I'm in between the regular sizes and the plus sizes which also make it difficult. I normally wear about a size 14. However, I'm short and would like to have a shorter length. I have wide hips and troublesome thighs and HATE jeans that are so low cut that I feel like I have to cover my back before I bend over or sit down.
Anyone have any suggestions for some higher rised Silver jeans that are nice to hips and thighs?
