A few years ago I started to include ultrasound diagnostic of my heart, stomach, and abdomen in my annual physical check up. The procedure takes about 45 minutes and is done at a hospital by trained technicians who are usually middle-aged women. Basically you are on a bed lying on the left side of your body, with your left arm under your head and your right arm just flat against your torso (like when you are sleeping on one side). With your back against the technician, she reaches around your body with the device and to get to the heart she needs to reach really far especially if you are a bigger guy.

As I checked in with the receptionist the other day I saw a cute girl standing behind the counter dressed in a hospital blue gown.
