Nirvana at Coco's (3310 Yonge Street, phone 416.322.7899)
A few years ago, after visiting many massage parlors I gave up. I knew there had to be something fantastic, but I could not find it. Inevitably the shiatsu, the aromatherapy, the swedish was just a lame excuse for a mundane rub and a pat and a tickle. Naively, I thought that a fancy certificate on the wall meant that the lady had some training, and could do some magic. It was hit and miss, some were better and some were worse, but never amazing.
Now, years later, I am computer literate so I figured that customer testimonials ("grabbing hold of what's essential and speaking the truth") would guide me in the right direction. After googling I found massageplanet.net. Much was titillating, but among the dross I found brightness - references to Coco's. Would the brightness reveal jewels? The posts were promising, so a visit was in order!
I finally found Nirvana! Coco's place is clean and bright, and an offer to use the shower was welcomed. I figure that to get a good experience you must put effort into it. So for starters I always take a shower. Not only do I feel fresher, but gives a good signal to the lady: would you want to massage a dirty and sweaty body? Also, take time to talk. Coco is a pleasant and interesting lady. Like us, she has her dreams and worries. Find out about China, how she likes Canada, etc. If you respect her then she will repsect you. Finally, to the massage part. If all you want is a rub and a tug don't waste your time. Instead, what you will get is a strong, thorough, relaxing and deep massage. I like it strong, but don't be afraid to ask Coco to go gentler if she overdoes the back massage with her knees! After a full hour all the stiffness, sore muscles and aches and pains will all melt away. I felt rejuvenated for days! I was hooked. A return visit a few weeks later confirmed the experience. Also, the music is very relaxing, but if you prefer something different jusk ask!
Finally, Coco is very professional and you pay at the end.
All the posts on Coco have been very positive. What worked for them also worked for me!
