No imbalances during treatment!

[HI everybody]

Have just done a treatment and I could not detect any imbalances of the feet. Would you just describe this as there are no areas of the body out of balance???

I am writing up my case studies and do not know how to word it!

Hello Dawn,
Isnt it a pain when you dont get anything to write up about?! Need something to get your teeth (thumbs) stuck into.
Ive worked on a young sixteen year old girl, although she had been studying to be an holistic therapist she too didnt have any inbalances. I just put that she really relaxed through out her treatment which as you know is a hugh benefit.

When I did my case studies I did one of them on my 13 year old daughter and she was the same - I just mentioned that from time to time her hormones were a little awry and she relaxed during and after the treatments and that her hormones did settle (slightly!!)

It is difficult when there is nothing to detect. Sometimes you think have i done it right - but we must thank our stars that that particular patient is healthy.

That's great Dawn!

You've treated a healthy balanced client! It's a great experience, because it gives you something to aim for - you now know how balanced feet feel and look. Now.. the only other reason you might not have felt anything is lack of pressure or maybe trying to hard cause you're at the case study stage. Sensitivity in the fingers builds in time - it could be possible. Unlikely if your subject is pretty healthy.

To be honest many case studies are on healthy people - you get the chronic cases later on, that's when the really exciting experience begins.

For your case study all you need to do is examine the consultation and tie your findings in with that. If you're doing a number of treatments on that person, then you might find that the feet can changefrom treatment to treatment.

Every experience you have with a client is a learning one, ask yourself what you can learn from this client and this treatmenrt.

Hi there, I've just finished my case studies (just the writing up the last few treatments!). This happened to me a couple of times. I mentioned it to my tutor and she said that it could be because they weren't receptive to the treatment so to monitor it over the course of the case study. Sure enough, by the 4th treatment I was finding things, I think it was to do with problems that were more deep-rooted - anxiety etc. My tutor passed that case study so I presume it was all okay!

I still find times though when I feel I should be picking up more - I hope it just comes with experience!
