Nokia 2700 classic Massage Time vs. Phone Time?

My new Nokia 2700 phone time seems to be not synchronized with the message time... For example, I receive a message from a friend at 2:30PM (phone time/regardless of time format). But on the message details, it shows that the time the message arrived (or sent even) is different, for example 8:10am (regardless of time format). Can someone tell me why and how should I fix this problem? Thanks a million!

What exactly is your problem? Who said that those two times should be in sync? The SMS system is not a real time one and depending on the network conditions (congestions, out of range) you may receive the message long time after it being sent.

Take another phone and send yourself a message. Take the time when you sent it, measure the delay until it arrives to your phone and then read the timestamps from message's details. If they don't match call the network operator, the SMS goes through their servers and they might be the guilty party. If they do not acknowledge the problem take the phone to a Nokia authorised service centre and have them look at the issue.

Or better yet, move on with your life. There are more important things for you to be worried about.
