Hello all,

Thanks to ALL the contributors on this board I have for the most part had a very enjoyable dabble in this hobby.

However, recently had a very bad experience and perhaps I am very much over dramatizing this situation but for me this recent situation had been traumatizing.

In the past month I revisited for the second time a place where I had a reasonably good experience the first time. On my second visit with the same provider the massage started the same way as the first and the reason I returned was there was no negotiations on my first visit. After the flip she started HARD negotiations. Her first price was just a regular HE for two brown and two greens. I turned that down and mentioned with my experience that was very overpriced. She wouldnt take no for an answer and continued to drop her price by a green each time.

After about 4 or 5 back and forths we agreed on one brown and one green. The silly thing is that was less than i gave the first visit with no negotiations. Now comes the tragedy. I was so upset with her attitude and negotiating tactics I could barely even get half stiff. She got very frustrated when it could not work and her jackhammer came out in full effect. It was even spiraling downhill even more so I just asked her to stop trying. Then she lost her shit on me and told me I owed her extra for all her extra effort. I paid her only 1 brown because I did not get what was advertised.

I love places that provide excellent semi legit massage and are appreciative when tipped correctly. Do you have a similar story and what are your favorite places that don't negotiate at all. I must mention that when I get a nice 1 hour massage with HE I Normally go between 1 brown and two greens and if I enjoy more I tip more accordingly.

Usually at RMT places you don't pay ahead of time. As you never mentioned, so curious - was it a FS or RMT place?

Yes- A girl who claimed to be Winky at Nana's (from guys' description on here, it wasn't) was very aggressive with bartering and then proceeded to give an equally aggressive, almost painful, jackhammer. Not going back to Nana's!

i know there are going to be some polarizing takes on this one... my rule is you don't negotiate, not like that. its not a bag of carrots at the farmers market. if i think a lady quotes more than i expect or is normal, i may suggest i only have x-amount and if thats not cool, i move on without extras. They should always have the right to price, our only choice is to accept it or not.

I agree, I never negotiate. If I don't like the price I just stick with no extras.
