Oakworks "butterfly cushion" good for large cheste

I'm not sure which clients are suitable for this product. I'm looking for something that is comfortable for large chested clients. I wasn't sure if this product would actually be effective or not for that purpose, so if anyone has purchased this, I'd value your opinion. I saw the other thread on some of the other products for breast cushions, but I didn't see any that I thought would be comfortable.

Also, what about a sternum pad used on a table for that purpose? I know they're intended for massage chairs, but I was curious if anyone had tried them on a table.

Sorry, I can't help with advice on the product, but is this what you are referring to?

As for the sternum pad on the table, I'd never thought of that! Sounded logical, so I tried it out. I didn't find it more or less comfortable than just laying on the table; then again, I didn't lay on it for 20-30 minutes like I would during a massage.

Yup, thats the product I mean. You said the sternum pad didn't make it more comfortable.....but are you normally comfortable on the table anyway without it?

Hey kpolice85, I looked at that butterfly cushion a couple of years ago. Several of my colleagues said that they didn't like it. I guess you fill it with air to get the amount of cushioning needed per person. They thought it was too disruptive to fuss with. But! Of course that is only their opinions and maybe you will hear from some others that like it.
I decided agaisnt it so I never got to try it.
If you get one maybe you can give a report later on??

I've never used the butterfly cushion but I do use this bolster Ladies Comfort Bolster

I use it for my clients that are larger busted and it is much more comfortable for them than lying flat on the table.

You have to raise the headrest up. I have an Oakworks, it has a double-adjustable face cradle so you can elevate it.

You have to raise the headrest up. I have an Oakworks, it has a double-adjustable face cradle so you can elevate it.

I have this bolster also & even with the face cradle elevated, I still found that it pressed into the throat. So, I took it out of the vinyl & shaved that edge of the bolster down, so that it's now curved on top. That combined with the elevated face rest works really well for my clients. (Why they don't curve it in the first place is a mystery to me!)

Yah, I have the Oakworks headrest, and some of the clients still fidget and can't get comfortable.... I will razor away and see if I get results. I basically just stopped using the cushion......this gives me hope!
