Thats true, 1st time ive had trouble in a car. Been jacked by the federales in cab once so im done with TJ for a while. Moving to DR in Aug so i had a good 4yr run in and out of TJ..

I was parked a three blocks west from AB. Im sure others have said whatever, but it was odd that there were 10 different tows all in area.

That really sucks. Exactly where were you parked to be towed? I find it hard to believe that some of the others were parked legally in a pay lot and were towed from there. I don't find it hard to believe that they may have told you that though.

First time ive had an incedent in TJ. I have been driving across the border for years and this is first time i have ever had a problem. Last night went across about 12am parked over by Adelitas in my normal spot. Had a whole bunch of fun, come out to car at 3am and walla car was gone. First thought it was stolen, next thought hmmmm damn crooked ass cops towed it.

Yep they towed it, so after driving in a taxi for 30 min we get to tow yard and they said NO car till after 8am at courthouse. We all know what that means...Shakedown... After arguing for 30 min and 100 us later car was released and on we went. PS there were about 10 other americans dealing with same BS and after talking with several we all were in or around the AB or HK area some in lots some on street. If they start doing this on the reg im over TJ.

Anyway be careful if you drive.
