I've been a "lurker" for several years, though I was once a significant contributor. Started in the hobby about 9 years ago. Wrote some on ASPD many years back so I am taking a complete alias approach to this one and only post. Got to know some guys but left due to some issues I disagreed with. Began following massageplanet and still some more issues. I am almost addicted to the scene but have decided to no longer look at massageplanet, but wanted to add my opinion before leaving for good. If anyone wants to jump in, great. If not, that is great, too. I have taken 3 k-girls out of the amps, married and divorced one, lived with one but split up after a couple of years, and still supporting one in NDallas. Basically, I only want to say that so many guys fall for these girls and believe the girls are falling for them in return. They don't want certain things posted because they believe the girls are providing the exceptional service only to them. Others don't want to post certain things because they believe the girl cares for them and they want to be "respectful". Many others are just stupid and can never be saved. Eric took 1 Smile girl for a helicopter ride and then to an upscale hotel on Valentines Day rather than being with his wife and 2 kids and really thought this girl loved him because she said so. He then invited her to go on a TI business retreat but was turned down and was a little upset. He then read an ASPD review exposing "his girl" for what she really was - a business girl who exchanged sex for money and was willing to do what her client wanted and was then willing to write an honest review, printed it out and took it to SMile and made this girl so upset and afraid that she had St. Chris remove her from the review option. This same girl felt so used when Larry brought his British associate to her for 3 hours and he violated her but she did not know how to respond. He thought that giving her 4 or 5 pairs of stripper/whore shoes from his store was going to make her happy but instead insulted her. Another girl was continuously stalked and had so many text messages that she decided to approach LE despite her line of work because Mike would not leave her alone. The importance of this is that these review boards are meant to inform others of what the girls do for money, not what type of relationships they have with their clients. Guys, please understand that these girls never fall for us or in love with us and they typically do not even like us, they use us for money, for convenience and to escape the daily boredome that they all face. While I have shared a lot with many, I know we will never have love (marriage, living arrangements, etc are calculated decsions, not based on love, etc). We all say, just my thought, just my opinion, etc, yet so many look at this board as a way to meet the right girl and/or convince themselves that these girls are their friends. We all have stories of eating in the kitchen, going drinking with them, visiting them when they take a vacation, living with them for months, etc, but my problem is when the guys who experience this believe they are special or have a relationship. These girls are wonderful, sweet, loving, but very calculated and manipulative. Guys, be careful, be respectful, but don't fool yourselves and please always post respectfully. THat's it for me!

While you make some valid points and expose some dark truths about this scene, it appears to me that you are just trying to convince yourself that these things are true. Guess you learned the hard way. You sound bitter. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

I sure as fuck hope those are aliases you used in the stories you told. Not sure what purpose they served. I guess to illustrate your points but more likely just to hurt others.

Perhaps the strangest post I've read.

When I try to look past the bizarreness of calling people out (company names and all - I hope Mods edit that stuff out) and dig to the intent, I'm still left wondering the real purpose. I always assumed that 99.9% of hobbyists knew that it was a HOBBY.

In ten years I can recall only two girls I've seen more than once, because I'm specifically NOT looking for a relationship. After all, the hobby is about fun, not family. Are there really guys who partake with the intent of finding an escort they can save / turn into a faithful, caring spouse? This just sounds extremely rare & backwards to me.

I believe there is some truth in the original post. That said, when I see someone taking a "group" of people and speaking as though they are all the same, his credibility is gone for me. I believe it is not possible to accurately dump people together and brand them as all the same.

In my opinion it is foolhardy to go looking for a relationship in this business. I also believe that it sometimes happens to the surprise of both. I have seen it, although rarely. To me the original post sounds a little like a generalization based on sour grapes. Just my .02.

I have been in the hobby since the first amp opened up, although most of this person's post is true, its a business. Most of the girls are very sweet and fun to be around. Some guys who want to marry these girls or date them, its not about love, they look at it as a trophy to brag about. When the amp scene finally comes to an end here sometime in the future. These girls will move on and never think about anybody in dallas again. The funniest thing i have found over the years about the amp scene is everybody thinks they know everything when most people have the same information but don't post it.

I dunno...don't think it's absolutely all dollar signs for the girls. Of course the priority is to make as much money as possible but some of the girls seem to truly enjoy the act of pleasing a man. you guys know the ones. Just like we are attracted to some ladies more then others...I think the same holds true for them. So when you feel like you are getting "special treatment" from one of the girls...well then you probably are.

Finding a girl in the AMP you can connect with for an hour is one thing. But a relationship?? That just defies common sense. Just like some girls make us wonder "What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?" she is probably thinking the exact same thing. Trust is the basis of any good relationship and sorry...that went out the door as soon as you walked in! You are probably doing her more good by simply seeing her as often as you can inside the AMP instead of trying to take her to dinner outside of the AMP. That just sounds like trouble.

Some guys are lonely and starved for attention, you can read in-between the lines in some of the posts. Some guys honestly think money buys them love. Money only buys you a trophy or some quick love. I've had providers say they loved me or they were mine, but what regular hasn't? We all know they're available to the next guy that walks into the door with money. It's all just a business transaction.

I can't believe a hot 20-something isn't actually attracted to a 40,50,60 year-old man? Let me show you my shocked face.

it always helps to keep one foot on the floor to keep the world from spinning out of control. the girls are people just like we are. of course they like some customers better than others like Story99 just stated. why wouldn't they? some of us are just way fucking cool. lol (jk)

try to keep your expectations low, enjoy the time in the room, don't expect anyone to "change for you" and not try to make it into something it is not. the girls are primarily in the biz to make money but girls get bored and need some fun from time to time as do all women. if you throw money at them with strings attached you're setting yourself up for disaster. enjoy it for what it is if you engage in such. if you don't have unrealistic expectations then you won't get all butthurt, bitter and resentful when they don't come to pass....and 99% of the time they won't.
