Jacob Guang Yang, who turned 44 on Tuesday, was held in lieu of $50,000 bond charged with trafficking of persons, according to online jail records.
He was arrested Tuesday night in northern McLennan County near the Hill County line after deputies say they witnessed him returning to one of the raided parlors to collect some items.
Authorities say he drove down from the Dallas area.
Yang is the only person arrested so far, but authorities indicated Tuesday that additional raids are planned.
None of the women found in the parlors raided Tuesday was arrested and all were 18 or older, authorities said.
Deputies and Department of Homeland Security officers raided a massage business Tuesday morning in the Bosque Shopping Center at State Highway 6 and Bosque Boulevard, McLennan County Sheriff McNamara confirmed.
McNamara didn’t disclose the location of the second massage parlor authorities raided Tuesday.
"The Sheriff's Department along with Homeland Security are investigating prostitution in some of the local massage parlors here,” McNamara said Tuesday.
The founder of the anti-human-trafficking group Unbound Waco was at the scene of the raid at the shopping center, along with a translator, working with the women involved.
"We're just here to be a comfort to the ladies that are here,” Susan Peters said.
"We have a translator help comfort them, explain things to them, explain the process and things like that"
