So I've found a guy online that looks like my ideal partner and ticks all the right boxes. I have hidden my profile so I first initiated contact with him. We've been emailing back and forth now for a little over a week and it's kind of reaching the point where we're losing things to talk about and should really meet. On about the fourth day of emailing, I hinted about meeting up, saying that it's hard to judge if you're going to click with someone from just talking online. He didn't take the hint though and so we just carried on talking and getting to know each other.
Basically, it's feeling like it's about to fizzle into nothing even though it seemed like we both liked each other and had a lot in common. I really would like to meet him though and don't want this to happen! After hinting the last time though, I don't really want to have to do it again. I know asking him outright would be the easiest option, but he's 4 years older than me and I want a man to be a man and do the asking!
On paper, he seems like somewhat of a catch so I know he's probably talking to a lot of girls, which obviously is fine, but I don't want some other girl to bag him instead of me! Any suggestions as to what to do? Keep talking and wait to see if he asks?
