Open House/Spa Party

Hi Guys,

an MT friend and I are going to have an Open House/Spa Party at our office to get me some clients, but I have some questions:

What have you guys served for food? I was thinking, teas, water and juice, with some munchies like cookies and fruit.

I'd like to give something away, maybe bath salts, or bath cookies with my card attached? Any other suggestions?

Also, I'd like to offer Chair Massage and foot scrubs there. Has anyone else done this? Do you suggest anything else?

I was thinking I might offer a discount of $10 0ff any appt made that night and completed.

How does this all sound? Any feedback is appreciated!!!

maybe also offer hand scrubs. See if local businesses will give you things you could raffle off. Or raffle off some gift certs. To enter, get people to give you name, phone number email, and you can start your own mailing list with that.

The food & bev ideas you have are good, keep it simple ( I had fruit & cheese & crackers ;they can grab & munch while you tell them all the bennies of massage!). People do like things to take with them, bath salts, Biofreeze samples (if this is something you offer). Chair massage is good, too, YOu can win over potential clients better once you get your hands on them! What about a drawing for a free massage? Or a chance to win a free massage with every GC purchase? I offered$10.oo off IF they booked before they left, that went over well. How about a hand scrub instead of a foot scrub? People walking in for open house may be leery of shucking off their shoes their first time in :} Dont forget to do a liitle advertising, let folks know what youre up to & to come on in! Have fun!!!

Raffle is a great idea. I thought foot scrubs since our office is a shoe-less zone anyway.

What did you guys do for drinks?

I bought a case of those small waters (sams club), I think theyre like 8 oz? and I had coffee (winter!) and teas. Grapes, strawberries.....

veggies, fruit, water and or juice, coffee tea, crackers, cookies. I would want things that I wouldn't have to worry about spoiling because of not being refridgerated or heated for long periods of time.
