I would like to extend an invitation for the official opening of my new bar to all B.M. who may be staying in Karon/Kata or those curious to see the nightlife outside Patong. The bar is called Cha Cha Bar and is located in Karon Beach. We will be having a barbeque starting about 730pm. The bar is located on the former soi (Soi Happy Bar) running off the beach road just past the lights (reference Phuket Orchid Resort) about 300 m before you enter Kata. Hope you can stop by and say hi!

Here is a map for those not familiar with the area. Coming from Patong you will pass the Hilton. At the next intersection there is a pedestrian crossing light. About 20 meters past the light the new bar area is on the left. Its a walk in soi you will see the bars inside. This was a bar area before but was torn down a few months ago and has been rebuilt. Good luck with you new bar and I will stop by to sample your wares.

Haven't been to a doc yet. Heard from some people that it's "something that everyone got at the moment and it goes away after a few days".

We'll see, if it gets worse I'm sure to go see the doctor. At this point I'm reluctant to do so since I don't approve the local way of dealing with such things: "Here, have some antibiotics, then some more and then some and you'll be ok. If not - come back again to see what's really wrong with you".
