Otay Border Crossing: Alternative to Main TJ Crossing

Otay Mesa is a suburb community within (and a part of) the City of San Diego.

Both Tijuana and San Diego are extremely large border cities, large enough to warrant more than one border crossing area.

On the Mexican side of the Otay Mesa border crossing, one close facility is Abelardo L. Rodrيguez International Airport in Tijuana.

Otay border crossing is about 10 miles from Zona, getting there you will have some traffic. About the immigration lines, there is much fewer crowd there, but also fewer officers, but overall it can be faster definitely on Sundays and peak periods. Once from there you can join you merry old 905 and hit I 5. Guys correct me if I am wrong

You can hit the 805 also.I work off the 905 but i never been alway down to the border crossing.Is otay a city are a town?{are a subbured of T.J.}
