Hi Guys,

Although I'm relatively new to both mongering and Shanghai I completely agree with this plan. This site has really got me started down this fun path and I'd like to thank you guys for the tips.

I'll do my best to learn about and share any new places I might happen upon.

I think I am discovering about myself that I prefer higher end places in the winter and will look more at BBS in the summer -- purely a temperature thing as I do enjoy both.

It has been very interesting. Some good times, but some uncertain and nervous times also. I've enjoyed reading your posts, JW.

Travelling further afield sounds like a good plan. I hope we can continue to enjoy this side of life in China (and continue to share knowledge on this forum in 2010) without too much interruption from LE. Sadly I think interruptions might be par for the course as the Expo starts. Might be time to get a little creative and find some more hidden gems outside the CBD.

Well fellow mongerers, another year almost over and it has been interesting to say the least.

Thank you for all your contributions which have made 2009 such a good one. For 2010, I think I shall spread my net farther afield and try a few places that I have heard whisperings about that haven't appeared yet on this board.

I think crackdowns will perhaps become alot more so be careful and lets have a lot of fun in the New Year.
