Packaging Gift Certificates - Metalic Star Boxes - Very Cute

I mentioned that I had purchased some metalic star boxes from oriental trading. I just recieved them today and they are so adorable!!

They fit a postcard sized gift certificate (in evelope) perfectly!! They take some getting used to to pop open and fold, but they are so cute!!

I prefolded a dozen of them today, it was kind of fun! They come 6 colors to a dozen, gold, silver, red, green, purple, and blue. 2 of each in every dozen. I hung three from the ceiling, two on my cabinets, and one on my door. I made two signs, one inside my office and one on the door. They say:

with every gift
certificate purchase
(while supplies last)

Those are cute! They'd make cute "ornaments" for surprise gifts, too! I used to have little mailboxes on the tree that I hid small gifts in each year, for each family member......this would work too!

These are boxes, so they have two openings for putting stuff inside. A postcard sized gift cert fits in them easily. After I folded the flaps on the openings, I just taped them shut.

They are a bit larger than ornament size. One tucked into a tree would look very nice and get a lot of attention.

I inspired one of the hair dressers in my building. She went to the dollar store and bought different boxes, some velvet and some not. She will be offering them to husbands to give to their wives for Christmas. If you spend $50 or more she will give the velvet box.

The packaging makes it look like the giver put a bit of thought into the gift. If they tell the reciever the box was given by me, it makes me look good. If they dont, oh well!! I am still good, they just need to come in for a session and see how good I am!
