pain in little toe?????

my little toe has been in pain for quite some time any ideas?...........

pain begins below toe and runs from metatarsal below right up along the whole of little toe front, back and sides ........of toe in left foot?

Suppose this has got me in the mood as my first thought when I read your post was - how good are your shoes? In my reflexology class we were taught to always be very aware when people have pains and aches in their feet that it does not necesserily relate to something in the body but that it could be because of shoes, how people walk, etc.

Other than that - any problems with your ears? or maybe your (upper)shoulder???

Dear Little Toe person,
There are many different forms of NWS (Neurological Wave Syndrome) and it could be that you have one of these symptoms. Research has shown that migraine and irritable bowel syndrome begin with a wave of neurological activity, a strong pulse of electricity that runs along a nerve, and discharges at the end of that nerve. It could be into the head, causing a headache if its a small pulse, or a migraine if stronger. If it ends up at the bowel it can cause diarrhoea and bloating, but if it goes to the descending large bowel it can cause constipation! It can also follow nerves to muscles, and cause general backache or even sciatica.
It can even find its way down to the feet and cause plantar fasciitis - a raging pain from the heel. It can go to any joint - causing intial pain, then inflamation. Do you think it could be NWS in your toe?

I'm not an expert- but it might be worth your while seeing a Remedial massage/ sports injury therapist. My partner always clears any pain I have like that.
You need to get your femoral nerve in your groin, and the sciatic nerve in your buttock checked out.
