Painful lymphatic massage?

Hi there!!

I have been having lymphatic massages for a while, but when I get the breast area drained it really hurts and the day after my breast are really sore and sensitive. I sometimes worry that massaging such a delicate area might trigger breast cancer. I'm not an expert and I only know the basics about LDM I would really appreciate some advice.:confused

Painful lymphatic massage? Absolutely not!!!! Where did the therapist train? The therapy should be incredibly gentle - and whilst too much pressure on the breast will, as in your case, make the area sore and uncomfortable (I'm really cross about that!), it will not trigger cancer.
