This is the first time I've used a forum like this so I'm hoping someone might be able to offer me a bit of advice.
I took up running more seriouslyabout 2 years ago and got very in to it but unfortunatley was hit by an injury after 1 year.
The injury materialised as a hamstring injury in which I experienced a snapping sensation behind one of my knees. This problemhad a knock on effect onthe inner side of the knee itself which eventually had restricted movement and preventedrunning![&o]
I immediatley went to see a Physio and was diagnosed with a ham string injury. However, some months into treatment my sacrum began to hurt which I eventually had to see a Chiropractor for.
The Chiro has had some success in treating the back pain and the "snapping" sensation behind the knee dissapeared for a period. However, I have recently started to run againbut the problem returned within 3 weeks of my first few plods.
So I'm now ayear down the line since this problem first emerged. I have a very painful sacrum sitting and laying down is now very uncomfortable and my running has gone out of the window again. My Chiro can't seem to diagnose this problem and I've asked him to arrange X-rays for me in the hope that might tell me what's going on.
If anyone can offer any advice to my epic, you are very very welcome! To put it bluntly this is literally becoming a real pain in the you know what!
