Hello all,
Like most of you I've been suffering with chronic pain for a long time. Over 3 years ago I prolapsed L34 and L4/5.
I've been coping and since June 2007 I've had no sensation in my left leg, which to be honest was fine as all the sciatic pain and nerve pain stopped and I couldn't feel a thing.
Then I woke up sunday with tremendous cramp in my left leg and the sensation has come back (great) but I am in a lot of pain.
The pain is in both my left and right calf. It is increasingly difficult to walk and if i've been still for an extended period of time I really really struggle.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how long this will last? Will it settle down and be pain free again?
any idea or advise so I know I'm not alone is much appreciated. I understand that chronic pain and nerve damage behaves irrationally and that things like this happen without reason - I've had by CBT course and I expect to have good days and bad days, it is just this change of symptoms with muscular pain, lack of mobility, exhaustion and intermittent shooting and stabbing pain in my left foot.
Thanks
Faye
