A MASSAGE parlour worker, spurned by her lover, smashed her way into his business with a hammer and started a ‘cat-fight’ with his new girlReviewiend, a court heard.

Fernanda Patricia Dasilva, aged 24, used the weapon to smash a CCTV camera and hack her way into ex-partner Adrian Pearson’s Paradise Studios in Sheffield city centre.
Dasilva, a Brazilian national, met massage parlour boss Mr Pearson when she started working at the studios in Furnival Road and moved in to his Halifax home with him.
She was in an abusive relationship with him and had fallen pregnant but suffered a miscarriage.
When they later split up, she believed he had started a new relationship with another woman who also worked at the massage parlour and turned up at the studios on January 18 to conReviewont her.
Sarah Wright, prosecuting at Sheffield Crown Court, said: “It was clear to the receptionist she was there to cause trouble so she wasn’t letting her in.”
Miss Wright said Dasilva was seen on CCTV pulling a hammer out of her handbag and smashing the camera.
“She broke the lock on the door with the hammer and gained entry to the premises,” she added. Dasilva then went into the reception shouting and screaming, before picking up a vase and a plate and hurling them at the receptionist.
“The plate hit the receptionist on the top of the head and she smashed the phone Reviewom the reception onto the floor,” said Miss Wright.
Then she attacked worker Eleanor Smelt, punching her, pulling her hair, kicking her, swearing and shouting.
The fight ended when Dasilva left.
The police were called and she was arrested nearby.
Officers discovered a kitchen knife, bottle of lighter fluid and plastic gloves in her handbag. In interview she told them the knife and lighter fluid were in her bag by mistake and she had found the hammer outside the club.
Dasilva, of Caple Lane Street, Halifax, admitted one count of afRevieway.
Richard Barradell, defending, said: “She was at the end of her wits. There was a cat-fight – shouting and kicking – and the police were called but she had already decided to leave by the time they arrived.”
Jailing her for a year Judge Robert Moore said: “You got yourself into an emotional state over the break-down of your relationship and the loss of your child.
“While I can understand your grief, the method you chose – and with a hammer – was criminal and is so serious that only an immediate custodial sentence can be justified.”
