it seems that the arrangement you are pursuing is an independent outcall. Independent outcall is 100% legal in Canada, or at least to my knowledge is 100% legal in Ontario.

Incall is legal in ontario, however, there is a grey area in negotiating a sex act for money. It's only once you're both behind closed doors (at the incall) that you're completely ok.

It'd be good if someone could clarify this a bit further, but I'm quite sure it's not as simple as some might think.

You're confusing the term "incall". Incall is when the client visits the SP at her hotel room, condo etc. An outcall is when the SP visits the client at their house, hotel room etc. Outcalls are legal. An incall is risky from a legal perspective as it could be called a bawdy house.

You'd be better off just calling her if you have a number that you can call her at. You can clarify this and there is less likelihood of a "paper" trail.

As others have pointed out, you have it reversed. Prostitution is legal in Canada, however, various acts associated with prostitution are illegal. The most obvious is soliciting ... so public communications for the securing of prostitution is illegal.

An incall, where you go to the SPs place of business, puts you at risk of being "found in a common bawdy house". That's a criminal code offence. A bawdy house, I believe, is considered to be any place that is primarily used for the purposes of carrying out prostitution. In that sense, it doesn't matter if its the SPs home or an incall location at a hotel. Also, it can be a bawdy house even if there is only one SP working there.

Outcalls, on the other hand, are completely legal. IF you call the SP to your hotel or home its your place ... not used for prostitution on an ongoing basis so it can't be a bawdy house. Also, since likely all your communications regarding price and services take place in the privacy of your room, there is no solicitation that violates the criminal code.

Having said all that, I don't think cops are interested in shutting down independent incall locations, unless there are neighbour complaints. I personally much prefer incalls.

You guys are absolutely right. I did have it reversed. I meant to say outcall. Sorry for the confusion.

As I said though, an SP once told me that hotel outcalls don't fall under the same guidelines as an outcall at the clients residence. I don't think shes on massageplanet.net at all, but we had a pretty good conversation about that. Like I said earlier, I was distracted and only picked up bits and pieces. lol!

I would think both outcall situations would be exactly the same. I have experienced SPs who felt that having incalls in their home was different than having a permanent incall location and that they were safer in legal terms operating out of their home. Same difference legally.
