Parkinsons with a heart condition

My grandfather has been having problems with his knee for the past year or so, pain and tightness, and loss of the ability to proceed "normally" down stairs (he has to take them "one step at a time" as he says, because he can't bend the knee to step down without excruciating pain).

This problem could be brought on by his Parkinsons, I palpated his legs (the one giving him problems) and found that seemingly ALL the muscles in his left thigh are seriously hypertonic. I plan on working on releasing these muscles for him, but have a few concerns about his medications.

He has also recently acquired a heart condition, and is on more than a couple meds for this:

325mg of Aspirin
Nitroglycerin (as needed)
Isosorbide 3x a day
12.5mg of Metaprolol 2x a day

Also, he is taking Aciphex for reflux and xalatan drops in his eyes, as well as Sinemet for the Parkinsons.

I was hoping maybe someone could reassure me that none of these meds are contraindicative to massage, or of any special precautions I should take because of any of them.

I will be talking to his Dr before starting, but seeing as it's the holiday season, they've been pretty hard to get ahold of. Blah.

You are right, however here are some suggestions.

Hello My Name is Bryan and I have been in this field for 13 years and raised by 2 Massage Therapists. My wife is a nutritionist/HHP and is amazing with 15 years of experience. We've found that a baby Asprin with CoQ10 and Garlic suppliments will thin the blood better than anything. CoQ10 and Garlic also have other benefits. He then may be able to ween himself off some of the drugs if he is comfortable with that. At least not take a full asprin. Secondly for his Knee if you can find a suppliment that has Glucosamine, Condrotin, MSM, Devils Claw. Natures Sunshine has a product called Everflex that works. I also am the largest distributor in the nation of a product that is simply amazing for aches and pain. It is called Profascia 2000. It is an oil and has a sister product that is a lotion called Extremeflex. They are both simply amazing and I've just begun teaching in California and Vermont classes on how to get rid of the signs and symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Parkinsons. We are getting rid of the shakes in Parkinsons with 1 that's right one treatment and they are completely gone in 3 to 5. This product is simply phenominal I just can't say enough great things about it. You can check out my website to learn more. Lastly Massage seems like a great thing in this case better than any drugs so keep it up.
