Patong beach parties

Hey BMs,

Can i find any parties like the fullmoon party in koh samui, while im in patong, beach party or something? Forsure i will find what ever of a nightlife i want on bangla rd, But I'm just curious, And would you guys recommend attending the full moon party in kuh samui?

Full moon party is on Koh Phan Gan not Samui, in general Samui goes a bit dead on a FMP night as everyone heads out there.

Phuket doesnt really have beach parties like that.. They tried to a while back but it didnt work, theres been some TAT sponsered ones on Karon beach, but not FMP style really. Phuket tends to be a bit of a different crowd.

There was a huge one on Karon last September went on for 3 days.
Loads of bands,stalls etc I had a great time don't remember what it was but the beach was hoppin.

Attended those as well, and thought they were quite decent (provided you could find a place to buy a drink...) Much more commercialized than FMT though. And not a regular occurrence AFAIK.

Samui did a few good half-moon beach parties when I lived there, but not sure if they are still going on.

That was the TAT sponsored stuff.. But really have you been to a FMP ?? They are not really the same..

Ones still going on at 2pm the next day, those had a 2am closure time.
