Pay up or else!!

I have attached a picture I took from my hotel lobby. Do and any of you recognise this Swedish guy? He was staying at my hotel at the time. He has a Thai wife and likes to bring women back to his room so his wife can watch him have sex with them. Anyway, this night he decided that he would refuse to pay the girl. Naturally this didn’t go down too well with her. She left the hotel but came back with a group of Thai men. They managed to lure him out of his room and then kicked the shit out of him. His glasses and mobile phone were broken in the assault as well. As you can see from the picture he suffered injuries to his neck and is looking very down about the whole affair. He expected the hotel to pay for a new phone and glasses as the assault happened in the hotel. He was duly told to Feck off. He reported the assault to the police and they arrested the offenders. Last I heard was that the Thai guys were still looking for him, furious that he had caused them grief with the police. Lucky he had the sense to check into another hotel. I bet he wished he had handed over the 1000 baht she would have been happy with.

On my last trip i heard two times about "farangs think don`t have to pay".
What they think they are?

He had no idea I took the photo. We were all behind him having a good laugh. I wish he could see it posted on the internet. Sad thing was his wife was a real nice girl. Everytime I go back to the hotel I always bring it up with the owner and we a another good laugh.

Have heard too many reports of guys not paying and sufferring the consequences. In my mind serve themselve right, they deserve it.

It has never ceased to amaze me the lengths that some people will go in order to be another jackass!

I guess the only side note I would place to this is I wished we had this guys side of the story, its hard to believe that someone would pull such a stupid stunt, everyone knows the score so how could you possibly have your good time and not hold up your end of the deal.

One other bit, if you get your ass beat for something stupid on your part, then why make matters worse by getting the guys in brown involved...I think he's damn lucky not to have been tossed in with the whole lot of em...if something like this happens, take your licks so to speak and get the hell out...lesson learned.
