Perfume for BG's

Hi Nicke, Geir, Geespot, Stevem, and any other BM that can contribute,

Wolf started a post about presents for the BG's and along with T shirts, perfume seemed to be a good choice.

Could you please try to get some opinions from your BG's as to what perfumes that they like so that the BM's will know what a new to them BG might appreciate as a gift of perfume. Just something they would like and it would allow them to save some money as they would not have to spend their earnings on perfume.

I know this doesn't really apply if you are a farang buying perfume for a TG, because they don't expect you to be aware of it, but Thais believe that you should never buy perfume for your girlfriend.

Something to do with it meaning that you are going to break up.

This is quite a traditional belief and i think most Thai women these days either don't care (perfume is an expensive gift after all) or are not even aware of this belief.

A quick survey round the office revealed that only about half the girls knew about this.

Still, something to bear in mind perhaps.
