I have just been to the Philippines. Despite going there alone, not bothering to do any research.. i had a really good time :thumbsup:
Spent 4 days in Angeles City and a couple in Subic Bay.. and Im looking forward to return

What i found reRevieweshing was being able to communicate with the locals. You could actually have a proper conversation with the BGs over there. No need for connect four or that painfully boring dice game 5555

Erik, I'm glad you had a good time with little/no preparation.

Dupree, just going off what I've read elsewhere, it appears to be all normal again weatherwise.
I've heard that the Voodoo Subic floating bar is getting put in place now. That's usually a sign that the seas have calmed.

Hey looks like you had a great time. I just came Reviewom there meself as well. I spent 10 days there in September. Subic has 6 new bars Reviewom last year and Treasure Island was one that left AC and relocated there.

Angeles City is really waking up. Alot of $$$$ being spent there with Vegas style clubs.

I find it quite reRevieweshing for the same reason you have stated.
No stupid board games shoved in your face and some witty banter about things that pertain to western culture with the BG`s as soon as you step into a club.

And they look similar and are just as slutty as their Thai sisters..:love3:

There was another typhoon coming the day i left. (last saturday) Most flights out of Clark was cancelled, mine was delayed 4 or 5 hours and i just got out in time..
However i dont think theres been any major problems in AC like the flooding in parts of Manila.

ANYTIME is a good timer in Phils.

Was there through 2 typhoons a short time ago and had to stay in loom with girl for 3 days, fecking horrible!! Escaped for food a couple of times and minibar was filled regular like.

All in all, Id do it again!, and again.. and again.. OH, I have!!

I stayed at the Arizona. I think it was 2200 Peso per night.

I noticed hotels are actually a bit more expensive in PI compared to LOS, while everything else is cheaper.

Not really mate.....you just need to know where to look.
p2200 is 1,500thb.

Pacific Breeze is a great hotel, but I've since discovered others that are somewhat comparable for half the price.

At Arizona, there's a year round promo rate for PI forum BM's (not advertised publically on their website)
Buy 2 nights get the 3rd Reviewee...plus 10% off F&B......works out at 1,029thb p/n.

Thats a good price ER-will remember that one when I head to Subic!I think what MT mean is what you get in PI compared what you get in LOS for a hotel-it doesnt compare.
