Yep. Had a fair session with a Chinese girl there once after one of the AMP socials. First one I think. Owner was so hot. They were unique in having an AMP setup and always stocking a mix of Asian and assorted other ethnicities...usually Hispanic. RIP 333.

but on a more positive note... Aloha and Cleopatra reopened recently. they had closed for a while. not sure what the particluars are concerning that. and i must say these are probably the nicest AMPs i've ever been in. very cool layout... sort of mirror images of each other. now closed VOP was also very nice. about a dozen rooms and the bar they had was way cool. but something about that place just kinda gave me the creeps. but a couple of famous girls did grace their halls at different times.

Pink had a great selection when it first opened, but it went downhill pretty fast. The last time I was there the girl was super paranoid that I was LE. Maybe they were cracking down?

I believe LE had Pink in their sights for some reason, and I saw it for myself during a visit next door. My few visits to Pink were always a bit of a disappointment so...oh well.

What exactly is an "AMP Social"???

Pink has probably had fewer le issues in the last few years than most other amps, but that’s immaterial and there’s no point in that discussion.

Hopefully, Pink will reopen (possibly, using a different name) in a couple of months. Similar to Aloha and Cleopatra, Pink’s issues have been mostly with the property owner (i.e. landlord) who has been subjected to coercion and intimidation by certain czarinas from Dallas Development Services and the Zoning Board of Adjusters. I think those issues will be resolved pretty soon.

Ok, that is obviously a big lie. I was just teasing.

I suspect he is just referring to an occasion where a couple of guys who love the amps get to know each other and have a drink somewhere.

I, of course, would have no personal knowledge of that, since I've never

1. Been in an AMP
2. Had a Table Shower
3. Or met any other guys who frequent amps.

It's unfortunate Pink is closed, had many good times there with Gina, Sky and Jenny; especially enjoyed Gina she was a beautiful young lady with an angelic face.

I don't think SL was on the scene back when we had the two real AMP socials. 2003-2004 around that time if memory serves. Don't know if that could be replicated now. Kind of an ultra secret affair somewhat akin to the monthly deal the local Indies have now. Not as big an affair either.

Mostly a venue for hobbyists to meet up at an undisclosed location and have a few drinks but there were always a spa or two whose manager and 2-3 girls from that particular spa mix and mingle with about 25 of us AMP enthusiasts. Drinks, appetizers and quite a bit of Karaoke at the 2nd one. Afterwards a good number of us would return to the spa of the ladies which attended the event for dessert. This was where many of us old time amp hobbyists met for the first time. You could also meet at grand openings of new spas but they tend to open without too much fanfare nowadays and you don't see too much of that. The kitchen at Gina Bath always had 2-3 hobbyist in there chewing the fat with each other and Choi the kitchen mama. Good times.

The couple of guys who love the amps that get together for a drink is simply called "Happy Hour". This goes on to this day

And to think I spend most of my time at the AMP of choice trying to avoid seeing any of you guys in the halls...lol! It would be nice to see all the ladies with out having to ask for a line up.

A couple of weeks ago me and a friend were on our way to the clubhouse and stopped at that whataburger for some grub before the drinking and noticed LE in uniform sitting in their in the window facing the fun places. Not a place I will be setting foot in. He was facing with his back towards the places but still nothing that makes me feel comfortable. Yes I know he is their for the burger place but still does not make me feel better. LOL be safe
