Pins and Needles in Pregnant Client

Hi all

I had a client today who is 30 weeks pregnant. i was working on her right foot when she started getting pins and needles in her right hand. it subsided after a coupel of mins.

Then it happened again but this time in both hands - more severe in right than left and i was this time carrying oiut the lymph drainage technique.

Any ideas why this might have happened?

RE the lymph drainage perhaps it was a lot of oedema (swelling) and fluid retention? What method did you learn? Mine was Renees Tanner.

Could be the onset of carpal tunnel - several of my past clients experienced this during pregnancy. The lymph drainage point probably helped to disperse any oedema lurking about!

my client doesn't have any swelling at all but i do the lymph drainage anyway

i learnt it from Suzanne Enzer when i did her mat reflex course

It could of been down to her circulation, or a more holisitc approach, her meridians clearing and freeing any stale chi in her body.
