I find it so interesting finding 'what works' with people. When I was in my small room at the Salon, I always placed 5 brochures under my mint dish fanned out in a decorative manner. I was always replacing brochures. When I moved here, I set up a brochure table by the front door with a brochure stand (placed one in my room as well beside the mint dish). I wasn't moving them at all. A month later, I fan the brochures out on the table all nice and neat and BAM! Having to replace them almost every day. I guess the neatness of the fan shape draws their eye or maybe they just have to break that perfect half circle. Whatever the reason, it works!

Ha ha, or is it because they're under the mint dish! I've noticed that people generally don't seem to notice the things around them in their environment. Once, I was in a office for about four years and after seeing me for two or three years a client would notice a picture and say "Oh, is that new?" When the pic had been there the entire time!

But you're right, the fan shape probably catches their eye better.

I've had that happen too! But then, I'm not a very observant person myself which really helps me in marketing because I know something has to jump right out in front of me and yell "Boo" for me to notice. lol
