Planning my first trip to Tijuana.

If you do happen to go to Adelita's Bar and you take a chica upstairs to the hotel, be careful of their stupid candy bowl sitting on the check-in desk. It's rigged with a fake hand that grabs your hand when you reach in to get a candy. Fucking thing scared the shit outta me last Halloween.

I would recommend staying at Hotel Ticuan.

It is about 7 blocks from the action, but has lots of restaurants around it and it is chica friendly, nice and clean. I think we day rooms are around $55 and weekend rooms are around $65.

Halloween is really celebrated in Mexico. The bars will be decorated and the place will be festive. I would venture around the block off Constitucion, Coahuila, Ninos Heroes, and the alley. There are lots of clubs in that area.

Hong Kong is the most popular and has action all day long. Adelitas was once the attraction but will have action afternoon and evenings. Las Chavelas is always a good place to check out and across the street Tropical Bar often has "new" chicas.

Try to keep some small bills as change can be a pain in the ass. Always have exact change for taxi drivers. They tend to try and shame you into letting them keep the change.

Don't let anyone sell you drinks you did not order. Lots of times when a lady sits next to you they will rush over with a drink and again try to intimidate you into buying her one.

I was planning on going back to San Jose, Costa Rica, but after all that I have heard from this forum, I decided to change my plans. What is Tijuana like around Halloween? What are the best clubs / bars to go during Halloween? What hotel should I stay at that is chica friendly? Hopefully something really nice. I am willing to spend a little bit more for a better first experience. What are the good places to eat? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
