Platinum Rates?

Can someone post Platinum Spa's current BS rates?

I know the room rates are $50/60/70.

I went to Platinum Spa's two summers ago...a little Asian gal was working up front...she wanted $80 form me to go in back with a lady. I ask to see who I could see, she had two ladies who were around 30 years old each (in fine shape wearing bikinis) come up front and say a quick hi and went in back.

I try to ask what is the average rate or whats the "top" rate I am looking at..she kept saying I have to go in back and talk in person with the lady but I need to first give her the $80 before I could go in back.

I left without seeing anybody ...(but I told her I am going to lunch at the mall near by and will come back later to see who else was available).

I did not feel at ease inside there.

Another question... does Platinum have some kind of "rewards" program? The sixth room fee is free, or something like that?

The BS rate for 60 min is $160.00. I am not sure about 30 or 45 min as I always go for 1 hr there. But, I'm sure other folks know about them. Sorry

They do have VIP membership card which you get free room after every 6th session. I don't use that one either due to short memory problem remembering my membership number!!!

If the rates aren't posted or communicated or posted at the front, there is a reason. It shouldn't be that hard to figure that out.

The way you were treated was understandable.. standard process.

30 minutes is $100.

Yes, as maurice93 said, this is a standard process and applies to most SPAs out there.

However, next time when you go to Platinum, pay for the room to that cute lady at front desk, go to your room, take a shower, relax and wait.

Once your lady arrives, ask her the rate. If you don't like it, leave and you will get your money back.

There is one little problem though .... Are you strong enough to leave the room no matter how much she asks for?!!!!!!

As I said, I'm not sure about 30/45 min rates, but probably they give me $20 discount because I'm special!

After five visits you get the Door Fee Only waived for your next (6th) visit (that works out to $50 free if you take the 30 minute session). You need to make sure that before you go inside you watch them initial / stamp your VIP card that they keep on file. Most of the time I have no issues with that. One time I relied on one of the girls (MPA's not the receptionist - I think she was in the washroom) to do it AFTER she showed me to the room and I never got credit for it.

Who knew? This is the rate I've paid for years. To be honest I can't remember the last time I've asked the rate at places like Platinum. I just walk in, if I haven't seen her before I say I want the body slide and at the end I give the cash no discussion. If it's someone I've see before no discussion of type of session or rate ever comes up. Just take a shower, she walks in, says "hi", and the fun begins.

Same here...but I started a little over a year ago and always 1 hr session there. I never ask about the rate either. I leave $200 which includes tip.

The only difference between our session is that I don't get a chance to say "hi"... they open the door, throw me on the table and massage begins
