Papas and Beer is a tourist spot that has locales in TJ, Rosarito and Ensenada. Chicas and Beer is just east off the main drag in Rosarito. It is small (2000 sq.feet) and has privados that offer FS in a little cubicle(3x4) with just a curtain and make-shift walls.

Ensenada is hands-down a far better city than TJ or that shit-hole Rosarito Beach(periodical water-rationing). I used to live in Ensenada and have often wondered why I left. There are four good S/C's in Ensenada and a plethora of places to meet non-pro's. All the clubs are within two miles of each other.

Rosarito is a popular destination for the 18-21 crowd that can't legally drink in California. It isn't a mongering destination.

Puerto Nuevo is a popular place to eat lobster. It has no discos or mongering spots.

Ensenada is a nice tourist town. (I liked it better before the cruse ships passengers drove up the prices.) It only has a few mongering locations.

For mongering Tijuana's Zona Norte is the place to go. Adelitas, Honk Kong, and (these days maybe) Chicago Club are good places to newbies to begin.

i don't recommend rosarito beach. it's dirty, loud, only one titty bar(chica's and beer) and can draw a very young and obnoxious crowd(18-25). it pretty much is a shithole.

about 5 miles south of rosarito beach you can stay at the real del mar golf and resort, a total first class operation by American standards. i have probably stayed at that place in excess of fifty days and have never had a problem. totally accomodating. ocean-view villas and a round of golf can be had for $220(two people/two nights) including breakfast buffet and free happy hour drinks. this is the hardest(very tight) and most beautiful golf course i have ever played with ocean views from 12 out of 18 holes. it is much nicer than los verdes golf course.

about 20 miles south of real del mar is puerto nuevo(lobster town) and another 30 miles is the beautiful city of Ensenada.

if time permits, i would recommend renting a car at the border with insurance and not limiting yourself to just TJ and that shithole rosarito beach.

the drive from rosarito to ensenada(60 minutes) is absolutely breathtaking as it parallels the Pacific Ocean.

I have thought of taking that same trip you are about to do in the past and never went through with it. I will just tell you however, that there should be a bus route that departs for tj with some frequency and that their rate should be a lot lower then taking a cab. whereever the bus leaves you in tj, it should only be a few dollars to the zona and then just follow gmbrldx advice!!!

In the past, it has been a very popular resort for younger adults. However, the recent bad publicity has scared off some of the kids. There's not much in the way of pay-for-play unless you know the locals.

Demand that they drop you off in front of Adelita's. If the driver tries to tell you that it is closed, or the Zona is closed, or tries to take you somewhere else, start to get out of the cab immediately. They will then understand that you want to be taken to Adelita's. Once at Adelita's, you can walk anywhere around the block that Adelita's is on, checking out the bars and the street girls. There is ample available information about what to expect, how to play, etc. on this and other forums.

Don't forget that there are numerous escort options available, too. Again, do your homework.

Heading to TJ with a few buddies in a few days and decided to stay 20km south in a place called Playas de Rosarito because it is on the beach. My buddies are not really into mongering, and as this is my first time to Rosarito, I had a few questions that I hope someone can answer:

1. Has anyone been in this resort town? Apparently, it has two amazing night clubs. Not sure if there is any potential there?

2. Since I've never been to TJ and if I decide to take a taxi up north into the city for an afternoon or evening, where would be the best place to ask the taxi to drop me off? An area with clubs and pubs would be nice.

Any info would be great! Thanks in advance.
