CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- Chesapeake police along with federal investigators executed several search warrants Friday in the Great Bridge area.
Sources tell 13News Now the investigation is part of a larger network and was sparked after at least six establishments may have violated a prostitution ordinance.
Chesapeake police say the investigation has been on-going for approximately one year. Authorities asked for the assistance of HSI approximately 6 months ago should the investigation grow into federal jurisdiction.
According to 13News Now reporter, Marcella Robertson at least 10 arrests have been made in connection with search warrants executed at massage parlors.
