Positioning of feet

Hello just doing a case study and have forgoten the past / present observationin relation to possitioning of the feet.

My client has her right foot straight up and the left foot outverted | /, can anyone suggest what this could mean??

I'm studying ITEC Reflexology, the info we've been given is:

Angle of feet as you face client

| | - Upright: directed, relaxed and balanced

\ / - Opposite directions: exhausted

\ \ - Pointing to left: living in the past

/ / - Pointing to right: living in the future

/ \ - Pointing towards each other: shy, lacks confidence, possibly down or depressed.

No information for a mix of positions, but it might be that your client is feeling very tired/over worked (?) It would be interesting to know if the position changes over the course of treatments.

I'm sure Beryl Crane says left foot is the past and right is where you are headed. It always works for me that way (hence what I have written below) ... must check.
In repsect to outward rotation, possibly the client's left hip (piriformis muscle) is to blame. On an emotional level, the client in the past has gone off at a tangent...literally left the path but with the right foot in a normal postion the client has got back on track. In other words this person may have had a massive upheaval but has had the strength to move on despite the baggage/memory lingering on.

if I were reading the feet I would say that the client is not living in the present....sort of ...........When this is sorted....when I'm doing this, or When I'm there....all will be fine.....not making the most of living in the now! If that makes sense... projecting into the future to avoid challengesnow!

It would be easier to say if reading all of the feet of course....but as a broad brush statement this would be my starter for ten!
