Hi everyone,
Joined this as there seems to be an awful lot of advice and support out there!
Had a Microdiscectomy on L4 10 days ago (slight dural tear which required 48 hours hospital bedrest) and was doing well - so well that I perhaps took it too far and walked my daughter to school and had a potter at the allotment. Absolutley blinding headache came on later in the afternoon and a call to NHS direct resulted in a 'spinal headache' diagnosis. Apparently cerebo-spinal fluid was likely to be leaking from the dural tear. Back on enforced bedrest!
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this at all!
Only other problem is a twinge at the top of my hamstring which I'm hoping is just the nerve setlling down post operation.
