Precision reflexology

Hello everyone,

Have any of you taken a Precision Reflexology course? Are yoiu getting good results with your clients?

I was introduced to this technique as part of a one day advanced reflexolgy course and it got me excited about reflexolgy treatments. I am ITEC trained in reflexology but don't enjoy it as much as giving a massage.

I'm thinking of doing the training with Jan Williamson in Devon but also wondered if there are other courses closer to London. I have found one in the West Midlands.

I'm not sure where else it is taught, but do know that Avril Holland runs her own courses around the Midlands. I've heard that Jan Williamson is a good tutor. Avril is our external moderator and very knowledgeable. Having met her a few times now I can vouch that her knowledge is excellent and that she is very supportive. If you were to train with her, I think you would have a very positive experience indeed.

She is due to teach where I work and I am kicking myself that I cannot make these training days. I will have to trundle down to her Academy for the Precision course another time, when the dates marry up.

I know a few practitioners who do a lot of reflexology and say they love using the precision techniques. It may be a good idea to get one of the books and have a read as this will guide you as to whether it is your thing or not.

It was Avril's course in the West Midlands that I saw. Thanks for the additional info on Avril. One of the dates clashes with a massage course I want to do. I've got the Precision Reflexology book - just need to dig it out. I've done a few techniques on clients and they enjoyed it.
