Pregnancy now to become a miscarriage

Hi there, me again, regarding previous subject that has taken a new twist.

The lady I was to treat while pregnant was told yesterday that she has lost the baby (poor lady), although she has yet to miscarry. She still wants to see me to assist with ongoing migraines and to expel and heal after miscarriage.

Obviously this is a serious and traumatic issue and Im asking if anyone have any advice this time round? or has had a similar experience? I can get back to her asap then to advise on the course of action be it with doctor, reflexologist etc, thanks

Hi Jolene,

Poor lady !! If she's asking still to see you ~ go ahead !! You can only support her, and as you've said help her heal emotionally and physically. I'm sure by continuing to visit you she'll feel she's being pro-active in her own healing process !! This IMHO can only be a good thing !!! Give her the opportunity to talk if she wishes and to be equally to be silent !! She'll guide you !! As far as the pressure therapy goes .... do as you would normally do !!! The body will only take what it needs from the therapy ... you can do no harm !!

Thankyou - my concern is that should the miscarriage take place first? before i start treatment and let nature take its course?

Hi Jolene,

Again either or !!! If your client has definately lost the pregnancy what you do as a Reflexologist will only help !! In some cases the pregnancy will come away on its own and in others medical help such as a D&C may be needed !! That will be down to her body and her G.P.

If the pregnancy is going to come away on it's own ~ yes, you'll probably do a lot to help the body back to balance !! Will a Reflexology treatment bring on the complete miscarriage ? Probably not !!! For the same reason that you can't bring on labour in an overdue lady !! The body will do what it's going to do in these cases, regardless !!! If she has to have medical intervention to bring on the complete miscarriage, again you can see her before and after this, again to help the body back to balance !!

I would treat her whatever happens ~ as i said before, you can do no harm either way !!
