I have a pregnant client who has recurring headaches at the base of her skull, usually only one side at a time. When they get bad, she actually gets nauseous and will vomit. The first time I worked with her, I noticed a fair amount of swelling in and around the neck and upper shoulder area. I lymph drained what I could out (she used to be on kidney medication b4 she got pregnant to help filtration but she can no longer take the meds so i have to limit the amount of lymph work that i do), I've assessed for trigger points in upper trapezius, levator scapula, pecs and suboccipitals and used positional release on them. Funny thing is, the pain will switch from right to left or vice versa while I am working on her. So far my work seems to be helping but I wonder if there is something I am overlooking. Anyone with any ideas I could use your help!!! Thanks! :
