Premier Resort Phuket

G-Day fellow Board members!

I will be arriving into Phuket on the 27th May and will be staying at the Premier Resort Phuket for 16days with 2 mates in tow......

I have received an email from the resort confirming they will not not charge me/us any Joiner Fee'sduring our stay...Yippeeeee :cheergal:

My Question is: Whats this resort like? any comments ?

I stayed in the Patong Premier Feb 2004. Its quite small and not many facilities apart from a pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable but nothing special. I remember the bathroom was a little odd as it had a window with wooden shutters that opened into the bedroom. Location is not bad. Its about a 10-15 minute walk to Bangla Road, and about 5 mins or so to the beach. Not sure if its guest friendly or not though.

I thought the staff there were great. A good example is that a friend who was with me became quite ill with a throat infection. He was bedridden for a few days. Even though they have the usual cable tv, they brought him a dvd player so he could watch the pirate dvds he had bought.

However, I remember seeing a post on another Phuket forum in which there were some complaints but i can't remember about what. You might be able to find the post. Go to the forums on Phuket.com, or search for Asiawebdirect forums.
