preparing for a massage practitioner job (CA)?

I took the 250 practitioner course which is required in Ca, BUT my teachers never prepared me for an actual job, as in applying, finding, interviewing. They only prepared me to be on my own which is not something I can do right now at all. I asked tons of times, but they never seemed to want to talk about it, only trying to get everyone to T.A for the next class, and sign our friends up. I have almost all of the hours I need, so obviously I am starting to think about getting a job!
BTW: I have had regular jobs before, but never a massage job (Obviously!)

so my question is what should I expect, and how do I go about getting an actual practitioner job?
do I just walk in to every spa, office, salon and ask if they are hiring?
Do I have to have my own resume, in which case how would I write it, what needs to be on it etc.?
Are they going to give me a resume to fill out and if so what should I expect?
During an interview what should I expect other than giving a massage?

Please serious answers I am honestly not prepared and have no idea! none of this was gone over in any of my classes, and would like to have a job after going through the course!
