Press Cuttings

Hi there,

I am doing the Itec Reflexology at the moment and our teacher is talking about putting a file together with aticles and press cutting.

I have one from the Times back in 2003, and a 1969 cutting about Eunice Stopfel. Does anybody have any else?

There are press cutting agencies but you have to pay check out Romeike and Curtice.

hi russ,

i wouldnt panic too much about it. over the year you will find articles... i did. papers like the mail, express and even the sunday times, run articles on reflexology. ITEC dont necessarily want to see *factual* cuttings so much as just stuff you have collected from various sources.

health mags, womens mags etc etc... just keep your eyes open!

When I was at college (run by the local authority), a big deal was made about photocopying press cuttings and implications for copyright.

I think the thing is NOT to photocopy as that would infringe rights but to cut out and paste into a book etc...

You would get loads of stuff from magazines such as Today's Therapist and also the GPP magazine etc. You can always ask other therapists if they get them. Positive Health is a good magazine too and they have a website so you could get stuff from there. It doesnt need to be just from national mags etc, so think laterally and I am sure you will find loads of stuff.
