-more of a relaxed environment
-easier to build rapport with SP, especially rmts that can lead to better experiences
-Your money goes straight to SP, so there is more incentive by them to provide good service
-more flexible hours
Con:
- harder to book, especially last minute
-pets
-housemates
-Odors (smoke etc)
-lack of variety
-slow replies
Overall I really prefer independent therapists. I almost strictly go to them. Over the years I've built a relationship and have a rotation that I see atleast a couple times a year. The sessions are like visiting an old friend and they tend to know what your your preferences are as well.
Who's your favorite independent? I'm looking to expand my rotation. Thanks
