Professional Massage Machines

HiJust wondering if any of you use professional vibration massage machines in your clinic ie. Thumper, Jeanie Rub, Bio Comfort Duo etc.  In Australia, probably chiropractors use them more than massage therapists.  If anyone has any experience with them or has had a treatment which incorporated them please give me your input.  Does anyone think they would help save the therapists hands if doing a lot of deep work??Thanks Lindy

Hi Lindy, we were trained to use something called a G3 machine as part of our school - it is a big thing on wheels, with a rotating vibration head, and interchangeable tools.  Our teacher said it could be used to save your hands for really deep work.  Some students liked it (the ones that liked really deep work), and it is also sometimes marketed as part of a cellulite reduction program (although our teacher was doubtful about the efficacy on that score).  I liked it a little, but really, for me, I am always looking for more than just a deep muscle workout in terms of massage outcome, and I like hands/arms/etc better.  We had a short thread about machines a while ago here http://www.massageplanet.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=mass_tech;action=display;num=1105480777 that you might want to see.
